I would like to ask the CATIA/Smarteam community on how they are doing parts and drawings of stickers/labels.

The way we have been doing it is we have a CATPart of the outside shape of the sticker that is used on CATProducts. We then create a drawing of the CATPart this gives us the outside shape of the sticker/label then we apply a .bmp object from the sticker/label supplier this completes the CATDrawing.

The problem is this creates an OLE link on the CATDrawing that I can’t erase.

Without being able to erase this OLE link when I try to save the CATDrawing into Smarteam it wants to pull the .bmp image in as well.

Currently we are using R16SP4. Any ones help in this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Hi,

I would suggest you to use a 2Dcomponent/ditto. No complications....dazed
