Dimension innaccuracies?

Dimension innaccuracies?

Dimension innaccuracies?

(OP)
Please can someone explain the following...
One of our clients is discovering that eg 50mm dims are either 49.9999999 or 50.0000000002 etc.  What causes this and what can be done to fix it?  Obviously, if something is actually that long, then it is, but if you draw a rectangle 50x50, then extrude it 50, how do you fix the dims becoming 49.999999998 etc?

Any ideas?

Mike

RE: Dimension innaccuracies?

I've come across this before...I don't remember off-hand what it was. Let me stretch for a minute cause i'm gonna to have to think and I don't want to pull a muscle doing it.
