Whatever the assembly and   we make will be in Enovia. Now i need to save all the parts and assembly as a backup which are in vpm. Therefore I tried in dmu ,save as frozen-save all products and data.It works but system is not able to handle as the number of parts present in the assembly is approximately 1400 including all instances. Can any of guys you please suggest of any other method possible.

RE: issue with ENOVIA VPM

Hi,

Your network administrator don't make a back-up for your database? Keeping a personal back-up its not so wise (if this is the case).

Fernando

hi ferdo,

No, we need to do it by ourselves as we are the people who will be working with enovia vpm

RE: issue with ENOVIA VPM

Why don't you copy directly all your data on a separate hard disk, using OS tools? Make that area read-only...anyway, a good idea should be to have an administrator....

Fernando

hi ferdo,
We cannot try to copy all individual parts each at once as it is time consuming if we try to copy all the parts all at once the systes strucks.
