I actually couldn't get that link to ever light up. Started thinking the power might be down where that link was originating..
Are you in the blackout area? 600 people.. Sounds like about one big diesel generator.
I visited Dawson,(edge of the Yukon River),once. The whole town was run on a couple of big Cats in one building at the end of main street.
I can never remember if that is Dawson City or Dawson.

Dawson Creek British Columbia, Mile One on the Alaska Highway, about 1300 miles South-East of Dawson City Eh.
Saskatchewan borders Montana and North Dakota Eh.
600 people affected; Sounds like an Albertan bashing Saskatchewan. Should be 600,000 Eh.

I was at NSP's control center when this happened, all the facts are not in yet--should be a report out soon. Words like Islanded, loss of load, etc will be in the report--not good that it happened but systems and operators did the right thing and stopped it dead in its tracks.

SaskPower has 440,000 customers.
Now that our dollar is worth more that the US greenback, I expect to see a flood of American refugees clogging our borders ;)
