PRV Set Pressure above Critical Pressure
PRV Set Pressure above Critical Pressure
(OP)
I have an exchanger and piping with HyydroCarbon which is protected by a PRV.
The exchanger is a steam heater and the steam is hot enough to vaporise the HC.
The Critical conditions of the HC stream are significantly below the set pressure of the PRV;
What happens to the vaporisation rate or vapor density at relief conditions?
