Paint Layout?

Paint Layout?

Paint Layout?

(OP)
Is there a way to create a paint layout in Pro/E?  I need to make a drawing that shows how to paint an assembly...  It's going to be a simple geometric pattern of few colors, but I don't know a good way to create a drawing for this.

One of my problems is that all I know how do do is make whole parts a certain color.  Is there a way to even show a paint layout on a surface such that you'll be able to dimension it in a drawing?

If anyone knows how I should be going about this I'd appreciate the help.

RE: Paint Layout?

In the past, we have used Datum Curves, Surfaces and Cosmetics to create and denote paint areas.

Thanks 3dlogix,

I was thinking about that this weekend. Throwing in a few datum cruves & surfaces should let me do exactly what I want.  Not sure why I couldn't think of that on Friday...
