Definitely check with your VAR ... apparently soon, VARs will no longer be giving the CSWP tests. Testing will be handled directly by SW ... online.

I'd highly recommend igetit's study guide. Their models bear a striking resemblance to the ones used in the test.

RE: Sw Certification
Yep. The exam breaks down into three sections. 100pts come from a written section (multiple choice/True-False). These questions are basically pulled from the SW Online Help. You know, the stuff that you read 100 years ago, so now you know how to do, but you forgot what it's called? That stuff. 300pts come from a basic modeling section. You'll have to capture some design intent and modify models, make drawings, etc. The last 100pts come from an advanced topic. (Sheet Metal, Lofts/Sweeps/ or Top-Down Design).
Reading through the Help couldn't hurt, you know?

I've been making a list of things I should cover based on posts here and other forums. I just want to make sure I cover everything.
Study resources and guidelines is on the list. :)

RE: Sw Certification
The way the i.get.it CSWP Exam Course was set up was good for me. I found it very useful when studying for the Exam.
I would like to see how the new way of doing the Exam will be.
I also agree with Scott, I was told the same thing when I was studying and after passing it was a good point.
Cheers,
