Distance mate malfunction

Distance mate malfunction

Distance mate malfunction

(OP)
I'm seeing a problem I've never seen before w/ Distance mates...

When creating a distance mate, the default value is supposed to be the current distance between entities.  This has always been true in the past, and is also so stated in the help.

In the install I am using currently, distance always defaults to 1.000 inches.  Not a desirable behavior.  Anyone seen this?  Anyone fix this?

RE: Distance mate malfunction

This was a problem with a previous version/SP. It has been fixed.

What are you using?

cheers

SW 2007 SP0.0.  I'll have to get the SP updated.  Install is on client's computer, so it may take some cage-rattling.

Thanks.

SW 2007 SP4.0

I started experiencing this same problem recently (3 weeks ago) for no apparent reason.

Distance mate is defaulting to 1.00 instead of picking up the actual distance between parts. This feature was working fine up till then.

Any fix for this?

System variable need resetting?

Bug?

HELP! - it's driving me nutz

Thanks,
