Part Color

Part Color

(OP)
In an imported step assembly model, while the parts appear in color, if I section the assembly, the cut sections (of parts) show in white. I think, this is due to the model of parts are in color on the surface, but not inside. One way to get the cut parts in color is to select individual parts and apply color. But, this takes more time on a big assembly. So, a) How to make the parts show in color when
sectioned in the sectioned areas? (note: section cut is done in assembly mode, not drawing mode), b) If the part is color only on the surface, the parts gets hidden in my computer when I try to "Zoom-in". How to make it the solid part color inside as well ? Thanks.

CBL,
Worked perfect. I noted that, with this macro, the surface color did not change (but inside changed) unless I do a "Feature recognition" for the "step" imported part. It took me sometime to understand this. Thanks again, CBL.
