hardware for SW2006?

hardware for SW2006?

(OP)
I'm using SW2006 and need to get a decent system to replace my Dell from 1999 - probably will go to Dell again. I'm not sure what processor I need. Does it have to be dual-core or two processors? Any recommendations? Does it make a difference? Also looking for suggestions for OS, video card, how much RAM. I don't do huge assemblies- maybe 20 parts.I'm looking to spend about $2000.

Thanks.

RE: hardware for SW2006?

Check out the SW website... hardware of today is overkill, but if you go new you have no choice... just check out the site to make sure you get what SW06 supports along with video card.
