ProE Model Check help

ProE Model Check help

ProE Model Check help

(OP)
I have ProE Wildfire 3 at work and have never used Model Check.  What does it do, how do I use it... etc... you know, the basics.  Im pretty good with ProE in general, no expert by any means, but would like to know how ModelCheck works

RE: ProE Model Check help

ModelCheck does just what the name implies it does, it checks the model to be sure that proper modeling techniques have been used. It can also check drawings for spelling. It checks parameters to be sure they have been entered and can even check them for a certain value.

Read the manual on ModelCheck in the Wildfire Help Topic collection which can be downloaded from PTC's web site. It goes into a lot of detail of what checks can be specified.

Operationally, it requires the check files be created for your companiy's standrads and then a single config.pro line enables it.

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."
