Hi folks,
I am working on one problem and fruitlessly trying to get an answer without much help. I wonder if I could get an answer from you members:
Problem:
I want to calculate increase in internal pressure in pipe closed at both ends, 300' long, 1" sch 10 diameter, carbon steel to SA 106 gr.B, filled with 19% by weight aqueaus ammonia in liquid form, when its temperature increases from 60 deg F to 100 deg F.
I would appreciate a positive answer to this solution with formula as this is one genuine problem I am working for for one of my client and I have to determine if a Relieving devise will be required for this pipe due to thermal expansion.
