Hi!

Have a any function in SW (2007 or above) with I use two occurence of one component?

I have a assembly document, and I like to use this assembly (embedding in a another assembly) doubly. The difference only the components size.

Must be use to 'Pack And Go' function to duplicate my document? or have a SW settings or any method for enable to use 2 occurence from 1 component.

Regards,
ZsZs.

RE: 2 occurrence from 1 assembly - may be without PackNGo?

If you have 1 component in 2 assemblies and you need them to be different sizes then you have use Configurations. If you rename a component you will need to use "Rename" and be sure  that it lists all the assemblies that reference it, because you will need to have those assemblies update to the changed name... but you cannot have 2 different names while in the 1 component.
