Suspicious results for beam forces

Suspicious results for beam forces

(OP)
Hi!
I think that etabs gives too little beam forces when is used to model irregular constructions.
I have checked that moments which etabs show me are generated only from loads directly applied to the beam.
It comes out that no slab loads are transfered to the beams.
Can you share me some tips to deal with this problem?

RE: Suspicious results for beam forces

Shell elements will transfer loads to beams only if they are meshed. Make sure that your floor elements are meshed. I have never had problems with outputs and have hand verified them many times.
