Back sourcing

Back sourcing

Back sourcing

(OP)
Is it just me - or maybe a local phenomena - but dosnt it seem like there is a wave of "back sourcing"?

It seems like especially in IT there has been a growing annoyance with performance of far east IT development/maintenance and this has lead to bringing back the jobs to Denmark. But its also within some specialised manufacturing arease such as tools and other machine components?

The danish toy maker LEGO has announced that they have abbandoned their plans for outsourcing to eastern europe due to difficulties finding staff there.

Best regards

Morten

RE: Back sourcing

I've seen articles about this too.  Specifically some IT jobs that shifted from Silicon Valley to India are apparantly moving back.  That said one report seemed to imply they are bringing a lot of their Indian staff back with them!

KENAT, probably the least qualified checker you'll ever meet...
