SW to dwg-Excel Table

Hey, long time no talk too.

I have a SW drawing and filing it as a dwg file. I have a problem with an imbedded excel table that's not exporting to dwg. When the dwg is opened in DWGeditor to verify, there's no excel table. I checked the options area, but couldn't find any options for this.

Any thoughts or work arounds?

Thanks,

Macduff spin

RE: SW to dwg-Excel Table

I just tried it. I inserted an Excel table with "create from file" (no link). Saved as .DWG.
It opened in both AutoCAD and DWGEditor without problem.

Huh.....? That's pretty much what I did, and no worky!

Anyways...I found a workaround. I just copy and paste the excel doc onto the dwg file and sved. It re-opened just fine.

Let's close this thread out amigo.
