Hi EdStainless,

I'm looking for a plain steel or any kind of alloy in sheet metal ( 0.187" thickness ) but just in steel family.

Best regards

RE: cold roll with hardness of 30 to 50 HRC

In my (admittedly limited) experience attaining a Strength on Hrc 30-50 is only possible with a quench and temper treatment. Obviously laser cutting and welding will create a HAZ around the area the operation is performed.
