PDM Works - Files in wrong project

PDM Works - Files in wrong project

PDM Works - Files in wrong project

(OP)
I have a situation where a designer has checked some files into one project and we don't really want them there. I am afraid trying to "move" them to another project will be a problem. Has anyone had this issue before?

Thanks

RE: PDM Works - Files in wrong project

Take ownership of the files and Change Project.
There is little risk in doing this.

RE: PDM Works - Files in wrong project

Once you have ownership, the Change Project function is available in the Mouse Right Buttom Click Menu.  Also, once you change the project, don't forget find the file you moved in the new project and release ownership.

RE: PDM Works - Files in wrong project

Moving the files to another project shouldn't be a problem, as long as permissions are set appropriately.  I do it all the time; that's what PDMW is for.
