Transformer Noise Levels

(OP)
I am seeking information on the normal noise levels of transformers in the 50MVA range. Does anyone have references for this?

RE: Transformer Noise Levels

NEMA TR-1 lists typical values of 75 dB to 80 dB.  Many of our transformers are significantly quieter because our sites are actually governed by city/county noise ordinances.  For example, one of the residential limits is 55 dB at the property line.
