Need help with analysis of vibration on a bar screen dependent on water flow through the bar screen.  Where to start?

RE: Vibration caused by water flow though a bar screen

First shot at your problem ...

Look at potential flow excitation ... refer to DNV pipeline design code for instance. Check out for your bar size, the cross flow and in-line excitation frequencies based on one bar and assming there is no interaction. Come up with some estimate of the mode frequencies of your bars and avoid any similarity. You could consider stiffening your screen if  there is a potential problem.
