Electrical Routing through Cable Tray

Electrical Routing through Cable Tray

Electrical Routing through Cable Tray

(OP)
Is there a way when routing cables and cable harnesses to have Solidworks figure out how the cables will fit and be routed on/through a cable tray?
I know that with the Cable Harness it will size it according to cable sizes but that seems to only be in diameter. I have lots of cables running through a tray and I am not sure the best way to do it.
I am thinking that I will have to creat sketches along the route/tray with points for each cable and use them to mate the routes.
Does this sound like I am on the right track?

I have the I get it series and it does not go into that.
It just mentions that you constrain the routes.

I think to simplify the question (after watching the Solidworks video), it would be Can you bundle or route multiple cable harnesses together to folloe a cable tray? Kind of like sub-assemblies are to assemblies.
