Pressure release at reshores

Pressure release at reshores

Pressure release at reshores

(OP)
Hello All:

I am not at all familiar with shoring and reshoring used in concrete buildings and recently was asked this question by a concrete sub in a RFI which goes something like this...
"We will be using a shoring system that will allow us to strip the shoring around the shores that will still remain in place as part of the reshores. Please advise if you want to provide a pressure relief at the location of shores that will be used as reshores before stripping"

Is any one familiar with this scenario? I was told this is something very common in PT slabs. Is that true?

Thank you

RE: Pressure release at reshores

In the response of your RFI indicate that you need more information to review the request.

You will find that this time the sub will give you adequate information to make a determination.
