Harmonic Noise Index on Generators

(OP)
I am looking for a device sensitive enough to measure the Harmonic noise index on a GE 7FA generator.  We usually hire GE to come onsite to perform a test to determine if the core of the geneerator is loose which may require belly bands to prevent key bar rattle.  Does anyone have any experience with this issue?  I am looking for a procedure to monitor this HNI index to determine when our Unit should be taken offline to make repairs?
