Solid Mechanical 4.1.1 in SW2007???

(OP)
Does anyone know if the SolidMech 4.1.1. plugin will work with SW2007 Office??? It says it is supported up to SW2006.

Thanks!

RE: Solid Mechanical 4.1.1 in SW2007???

If it doesn't you may be able to hack a DLL with a hex editor to let it run.  SolidWorks supports pretty much all of the old function calls in new versions.  I have a catalog that was supported up through 2005.  When we upgraded to 2006 it wouldn't work anymore.  This particular catalog has a DLL with a version check that asks SolidWorks what version it is. SolidWorks reports back a string.  I just had to change the DLL to accept "14" rather than "13".

SolidMech 4.1.1 works fine for me with SW07-SP4.

cheers
