Supressing a Decal in a Configuration

Supressing a Decal in a Configuration

Supressing a Decal in a Configuration

(OP)
Good afternoon, I have an assembly with two configurations.  A component of a subassembly has adecal on it and it does show up in the assembly in the first configuration.  In the second configuration I would like it suppressed.  I can get it to be either all on or all off.  Any thoughts on this?  Thank you in advance of any ideas here.

RE: Supressing a Decal in a Configuration

I think that is you only option. You might try Display states, but I don't know if that will help you though. I think its either yes or no... no in between.

RE: Supressing a Decal in a Configuration

If you place the decal on a part which represents the actual label (or sticker or silk screen or ???) the decal will be on, and insert that part into the assy, you should then be able to not show the decal by suppressing the part.

cheers

I agree with CorBlimeyLimey. I´ve done that, and it works. A plus is that you get the option to have the label included in your BOM.

Thanks for the responses, I did change where the configurations were and got it working.
