Label in point file

Label in point file

(OP)
I am working with Wildfire 1.0. I was wondering if they are a way to import label with a point file.

Thanks.

RE: Label in point file

I doubt it , i think will want to name the points and with a .pts file it follows this format , not seeing anything for labels.

              Coordinates of spline points:
(they may be edited using available editor; changes in X and Y
coordinates of the first and the last points will be ignored)

CARTESIAN COORDINATES:

X                Y               Z
0                0                0
0.01204          0.054195         0
0.048035         0.09633          0

RE: Label in point file

FWIW... if you iges out you could get the label name from the iges file.. It's not pretty to extract.. I believe there is a batch file running around in one of the proe user group.

Doesn't look like you can bring in labels thru Iges as it all comes in as import feature and doesn't assign a label.. with existing points in the model already
