.\fworks\fworks.dll problem

.\fworks\fworks.dll problem

(OP)
Hello again all!!

While trying to bring up the FeatureWorks addin, I get this error message saying that the .\fworks\fworks.dll is missing. Can this .dll file be copied and pasted back into the file, and if so, how? I researched online and one source stated that this .dll cannot be reloaded because there is a MSGBOX feature missing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks,

Rip

RE: .\fworks\fworks.dll problem

If your install of SolidWorks is local, try doing a repair on it. If it's off of an Admin Image, are other users experiencing the same problem? If so, then try a repair on the Admin Image.

RE: .\fworks\fworks.dll problem

regsrv the DLL in that directory. through cmd.

cd to "\fworks" in cmd
[copy and paste this in]
for %f in (*.dll) do regsvr32 %f    [press enter]

RE: .\fworks\fworks.dll problem

FeatureWorks is only included in the Professional and Premium editions? If you only have the basic edition of SolidWorks you are SOL.

cheers
