NLGEOM problems with LAMINATE section!

NLGEOM problems with LAMINATE section!

NLGEOM problems with LAMINATE section!

(OP)
Hi everybody!

I am working on a model representing a structure with LAMINATE sections. As there are DLOADs acting on it, I need to run it with NLGEOM=yes, so that the deformed new position of the structure is taken into account while the loads are acting on it. The problem is, although it runs ok in the NLGEOM=NO, with NLGEOM=YES, it does not converge. I cheked the model, and does not seem to be anything wrong (It run ok without NLGEOm!) This happens even with a simple flat surface model with DLOADs on it. What could be wrong? Is there any incompatibility among NLGEOM and LAMINATE properties?

Thank you all....

RE: NLGEOM problems with LAMINATE section!

There should not be any such relation
Just check material's plastic properties once again.
By the the way what is the error message for divergence
