LTS

LTS

So basic that it seems rather silly. Is it possible to retain LTS value for a drawing. Everytime I change it and reopen the drawing its back to where I was before. Using publish the original LTS value is used and my dashes are continuous lines.

To confuse things the drawing I am frustrated with was set up as LTS 0,5 and is now 500. I presume its a units problem?

And last of all has the search function on this forum died? I get no returns for LTS, Autocad etc. seems odd.

Cheers. Sean.

RE: LTS

Sean  ...Are you using the model space/ paper space features?

RE: LTS

Are you thinking about PSLTscale or something else?

Either way, is it possible to lock/save the LTS value for a drawing?

Cheers. Sean.

RE: LTS

Sean  ...Sometimes the computer get lazy, and will shown dashed lines as continuous line type. You just need to hit the "REGENALL" command and it will re-fresh the dwg. file to all the lastest settings. The LTS scale should not change on it's own. Good Luck!

RE: LTS

If you are in paper space, sometimes you have to double-click the viewport and do a regen, then go back to paper space to see the correct linetype display.  I only adjust LineTypeScale in paper space, and in the _linetype dialog box, [show details] have the "Use paper space units for scaling" box checked.

RE: LTS

Not sure if this helps, but if you're using paper space you can set PSLTSCALE=0 so that the linetype appears the same in paper space and model space.

There is also a CELTSCALE variable that controls the scaling of new lines.  You can search ACAD help for either varibles to get more info.

RE: LTS

If you do what Farmboy71 says,ie,PSLTSCALE=0 do a regen afterward but make sure that you have clicked the model folder first.
