SW causes mail-problem

SW causes mail-problem

SW causes mail-problem

(OP)
I run SW 2001 (sp13) under W98. Everytime I've used SW it causes my e-mail to crash. When I try to send an e-mail it says an unknown error has occured and tries to send the e-mail through Port 0. I have to restart the computer to make it work again. I use Outlook Express.
Anyone else had this probem?

RE: SW causes mail-problem

I'm not and I use Outlook Express, but there are a couple of differences

1) I'm using SW2001+ SP0
2) I'm using W2K

Which I tend to believe that is your problem. You need to switch to W2K, Win NT, or WinXP.

Win 95, Win 98, and Win 98SE are all bad memory managers and are not really that stable of OS systems in the first place.

Hope that helps....Good Luck,
