NY Snow Load

(OP)
I usually don't ask project specific questions but I am in a pinch.  Could someone give me the roof or ground snow load for Skaneateles, NY in Onondaga County.  I have ordered the building code and it probably won't be here until next week and I really need to start the design of this project.  It is listed as a case study in the ASCE and IBC.  Help would be much appreciated.

RE: NY Snow Load

From the New York State Building Code's figure 1608.2, I would use a gorund snow load of 55 psf.

Thank you very much!

Call the Public Works Department

RE: NY Snow Load

I would agree with mike the engineer, towns often have their own required snow load that may not be the same as the code.
