Bullheading Pump

Bullheading Pump

Bullheading Pump

(OP)
Hi;
For one of our project we need a diesel bullheading pump and we decided to use reciprocating API 674 type for this application. (High pressure pump for opening SSSV valve)
I found some of the reciprocating pump vendors but actually I prefer to work with someone who has experience in bullheading package.
Dose anybody have any updates on that?

Regards;

RE: Bullheading Pump

Please explain bullheading.

Inject high pressure diesel into an oil or gas well for pressure equalising of a closed SSSV (Sub Surface Safety Valve) called as Bull Heading.

Thanks for the explanation

RE: Bullheading Pump

We have an (old) electric driven recip pump in this service from Duraqual, try www.pumpingequipment.com.au. Not sure of their packaging experience/capability for diesel drives though.
Good luck.
