Animation

(OP)
I am working with ANSYS v11 and running my models through input files.  I have most of the details worked out, but I cannot figure out how to stop an animation with a command once it has been started.  Does anyone know if there is a command to do such a thing.  Thanks

RE: Animation

hello harris0165,
with which command do you start the animation?
I'm working with v.10 and I#m not sure is everything the same.

RE: Animation

Hi,
You can use 'PLDI' and 'ANMODE' to start the animation. But I don't know the command to stop it. I made a simulation with GUI and tried to get the command from log file, but got nothing.Maybe the only way to stop it is the control box.

Thanks Rock.  I have come to the same conclusion and just gave up.  My end solutions was to cycle through the mode animations using a do loop at the very end upon completion of all of my analyses.  It leaves that last animation running, but does not slow anything down because everything is done.

D
