Analysis of rubber compound after fatigue failure

Analysis of rubber compound after fatigue failure

(OP)
I work with rubber components that can fail due to excessive loading / high cycle count / heat etc.

Is there a post durability test or in depth analysis that can be done specifically on the rubber compound that would be of any value in helping determine why a part has failed?  We typiclly review the geometry for any weak spots / the duro for any heat issues / measured loading going into the parts etc..

If you could offer up any suggestions I would apprecaite it.
