Sulfinert information

Sulfinert information

(OP)
Could anyone help me to find information on sulfinert information. It seems to be a passivation technique of stainless steels which bonds an inert silica layer into the surface of the steel?

I would like to have information on the type of this treatment (CVD, chemical conversion, ....) and if possible on the existence of an equivalent in Europe

RE: Sulfinert information

Try to find the representative for Restek Performance Coating in your country. Restek has the patent for the Sulfinert(R) process. The layer is used for analyzing equipment for parts-per-billion levels of organo-sulfur compounds. (information from the Norwegian representative for Restek)
