I have a set of welding norms for carbons steel materials, now I have to calculate above mentioned material. Can sombody give me a factor I have to apply to convert my welding norms from carbons steel A106 to API 5L X65 material.

The time needed to complete one weld, depending on size and schedule or wall thickness.

Using the same welding processes, the time will not change, unless impact testing is required and lower heat inputs are needed to meet them.
