What is MS-6000 <D> 44A material?

What is MS-6000 <D> 44A material?

(OP)
I need to know what type of material MS-6000 (D) 44A is.

RE: What is MS-6000 <D> 44A material?

MS-6000<D> is a Chrysler standard entitled ZINC AND ZINC-IRON ALLOY COATED SHEET STEEL.  The 44A indicates a zinc-iron alloy coating with a specific coating weight (mass).  There should be an additional designation for the grade that would like something like this:

MS-6000<D> 44A -050XF

The 050XF indicates a high-strength low alloy steel grade.  You need to obtain the standard to understand all of the requirements.  You will need to contact Chrysler directly in order to obtain this standard.
