Sketcher geometry in black instead of white......

Sketcher geometry in black instead of white......

Sketcher geometry in black instead of white......

(OP)
I've had some issues with Catia lately and had to reset some of my CatSettings, and now I have another issue from that.

Anytime I draw in Sketcher, my geometry is black instead of the default white like it typically is. I have checked tools - options -sketcher and the default color of elements is set to white, so I'm not quite sure where else this needs to be set to get my geometry back to white again.

Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Sketcher geometry in black instead of white......

I have had this issue when changing color of a part at product level within an assembly. Select the node just above the part in question and change part color to "automatic" using the color pull down in the graphic properties menu bar.

RE: Sketcher geometry in black instead of white......

Black sketches indicate the part instance has a color in the assembly, as CATLITTER said.

But instead of changing the instance color to "automatic", I change the color to "no color"

(make sure you're in the Assembly workbench when you do this)
