Piston seal analysis

(OP)
Hello forum members.

I'm trying to apply centrifugal load on a piston seal using a fortran program. The job runs nicely except that the seal moves when load is applied (it's not supposed to). I have created a rigid surface to which the bottom surface of the seal is tied to, but upon re-running the job with the tie, it failed.

In the dat file, I get an error msg saying I have to choose *Preprint, model=YES. I edited the preprint option in my input deck, but I get another error.

***WARNING: 63 nodes have been adjusted more than once. The subsequent
adjustments may cause these nodes not to lie on their master
surface. The nodes have been identified in node set WarnNodeAdjust.

There 63 nodes are located on the bottom surface that's tied to the rigid.

Should I use *Tie, adjust=NO to be rid of this error?

thanks in advance,
jo
