How to pattern a feature in one direction

I am trying to pattern an extruded cut.  I am trying to use the rectangular instance, but the XC and YC planes are not in the correct direction that I want to pattern my feature.  Any ideas?????

Thanks

Re-orient your wcs.

Woah, that worked like a charm!! Thanks.

RE: How to pattern a feature in one direction

Orient the WCS so that X or Y is in the correct direction, then create the Rectangular Array.  The relationship isn't maintained between the WCS and the Array, however when you Edit Parameters, you're given the option of clocking the Instance.

This sort of thing gets MUCH better in NX5 with the introduction of Instance Geometry.
