Windows/USB/Dprint command

Windows/USB/Dprint command

(OP)
I am trying to download a DPRINT (POPEN,PCLOS) command to some equipment using the USB port on my PC, which runs XP. I have installed a USB/RS232 convertor and have a 9 pin RS232 cable going to my equipment. The data does not transfer and I think it must be that the USB port does not suppport the DPRINT command. If I try downloading data without the DPRINT command I can transfer data. Can anyone help?

RE: Windows/USB/Dprint command

1) which OS is this on
2) is dprint part of the OS or is it a separate package
