Can this be done?

If I'm in an assembly and I right click a face to edit a part is there a way to make all the other parts in the assembly automatically display in wireframe mode?

You mean like "Force Assembly Transparency" to 100% under "Assembly transparency for in context edit" on the Tools->Options, System options tab, Display/Selection section?

Yes. Thanks.

RE: Can this be done?

it wont go into wire frame but you can control the transparency of the other parts.

Also look for "Isolate". Right click the part in question and select Isolate. You have the option to set all other parts to wireframe or hidden.

Isolate is temporary, once you exit Isolate, it all reverts back. Handy when working to turn things off temporarily.
