data/database accuracy of Solid Works

data/database accuracy of Solid Works

data/database accuracy of Solid Works

(OP)
I have just started to use Solid Works 2000 . I have imported a large number of iges files all created from different software , the files have had problems on import to various systems. Solid Works
imports them fine. Now the question, I have not been able to find any setting for database accuarcy so this concerns me.

1.) Is thier a way to change the accuracy of a model in SW 2000

2.) If not how accurate is SW's data/database

3.) How accurate is the feature from the iges import , as I have a hard time understanding why SW is the only one of five diffrent software packages that understands these files with out any problems. Is the software making changes to the surface to fix this file and if so to what rules or accuracy.
