UNI equivalent

UNI equivalent

(OP)
anybody know the SAE or DIN equivalent to the following designation is?

UNI 6682 - 70 (Fe R37)?

Alternatively, an online resource where one might get this information would be helpful also.

RE: UNI equivalent

You've probably already tried this as it's usually one of the first things that comes up in a web search but just in case:

http://www.matweb.com/index.asp?ckck=1

KENAT, probably the least qualified checker you'll ever meet...

RE: UNI equivalent

This is probably a 1970 version of
UNI 6682:1987 Prodotti finiti piatti di acciai laminati a caldo e a freddo. Lamiere e nastri destinati alla fabbricazione di tubi saldati. ["Hot and cold rolled flat finished steel products. Plates, sheets and coils intended for production of welded tubes."]
Available in Italian only, for 34 Euros: http://webstore.uni.com/unistore/public/productdetails?productId=UNI668200!EIT
Perhaps buy, then use MatWeb's composition search.

I searched briefly online & also the 1979 edition of ASM's Worldwide Guide to Equivalent irons and Steels. No luck.
