Hello all,

Could be possible to simulate with Abaqus a local buckling on a thin pipe, for example: a straight pipe supported in the middle of span or to get the maximum moment to avoid the local buckling on curved pipe ?

Then the analysis likely to stop where it start to buckle. Tou may want to use a small ammout of stabliization to ensure you have reach the limit.
