STATIC PRESSURE OF COOLING EQUIPMENT

STATIC PRESSURE OF COOLING EQUIPMENT

STATIC PRESSURE OF COOLING EQUIPMENT

(OP)
first time in HVAC design,my question goes like this.how to get static pressure when selecting hvac equipment???

thank you

RE: STATIC PRESSURE OF COOLING EQUIPMENT

Call the supplier and/or check the catalog.

If the supplier doesn't list static pressures for the equipment, your client doesn't want it.

RE: STATIC PRESSURE OF COOLING EQUIPMENT

You design for a specific static pressure and select equipment appropriately OR roughly select your equipment and ensure the duct design is compatible.  It really is just that easy.

RE: STATIC PRESSURE OF COOLING EQUIPMENT

Are you asking how to calculate the static pressure in the system?

If so I recommend going to a couple of Fundamental level books and reading up on duct design.

RE: STATIC PRESSURE OF COOLING EQUIPMENT

yes, we still didn't figure out what the problem is.

i have idea that you cannot find the data in the catalogue you have?! please send us the data of specific equipment you have problem with.
