broken broke view!

broken broke view!

broken broke view!

(OP)
I have this problem when I use the broken view function. After applying it to a part or parts, when I rebuild, the function seems to no longer be applied to the part in which was applied to. Sometimes I am using a second sheet and if I print then the not so broken views seem to extend past the printable area and cover up other details and views. HELP!!!

RE: broken broke view!

Which version and SP of SolidWorks?

Are you only having problems when printing?
Can you update the printer driver?

cheers

RE: broken broke view!

Does it happen all the time.  I have seen this but not on a regular basis.  Service pack 4.0 also did something to broken views.  We have a couple drawings where you must go to the model and rebuild it before the broken view will work correctly in the drawing.  I will assume that this will not work for you since it makes no sense in the first place.

Regards,

Regg

RE: broken broke view!

I remember something about this as a bug in 2005. It was specifically limited to multi sheet drawings. Other than that I don't remember what the solution was.
