Configurations - Features Suppressed
Configurations - Features Suppressed
(OP)
I have a part with multiple configurations, and when I add a new feature to one config, it becomes a suppressed feature in all of the other configs.
If I edit a feature or sketch dimensions, I can select which config the change affects, but I can't find a similar option when creating new features.
Depeding on the model, sometimes I would like it suppressed in the other configs, but if it is a feature I want shared with all configs, I would like it to be unsuppressed in all of them.
If I want it unsuppressed in all configs, I find myself going into each config and unsuppressing each added feature. This is time consuming and leaves the potential for missing some.
Is there a way to specify which configs a new feature will be suppressed/unsuppressed in? Or is there a global setting that I could change on a case-by-case basis?
Thanks,
Lou

Your 2nd answer is exactly what I was looking for. That will work out very well for me.
Thanks,
