Flap Valves/ Reverse Flow

(OP)
How do you model a underground storage system with multiple chambers that has a flap valve to allow flow in one direction only?  The model requires the pond and reach to use storaqe and routing to use dynanic-stor-ind.  Thanks for your help!

RE: Flap Valves/ Reverse Flow

Outlet devices are automatically assumed to be one-way, as if there were a flap valve on each device.  Since the use of a flap valve implies that tailwater is present, you should also use a tailwater-sensitive routing procedure. For details see www.hydrocad.net/dsi.htm

In rare cases were reversing flows are required, a reverse outlet device is used.  See www.hydrocad.net/simroute.htm
