Need help with Abaqus/CAE modeling: 4pt bending and twisting of plate

Need help with Abaqus/CAE modeling: 4pt bending and twisting of plate

(OP)
I am modeling a 3D bone plate and I am having trouble setting up the conditions.

the diagram looks like this eg.
 _________________
( O O O     O O O )
(_________________)

sort of.  rectangular, 6 holes
symmetrical about the long axis and the axis perpendicular to that

First I want to model it in bending.

I am setting the mid axis as fixed and only modeling a quarter of the plate for simplification reasons.

I have symmetry about x and y and y axis fixed.

I want to simulate a 4pt bending test but I am not sure how to get the loads correct.  I cannot put a load on the furthest edge from the mid axis.

I am not sure how to do this in abacus.  Any ideas?

Also, how would I be able to put screw loads along the hole axis?  Cannot figure this out

Next I want to be able to model it in torsion.
for this I want to use the full plate.  Fix one end of it, have the screw pressures in all 6 holes.  But I need to fix 3 of the holes on one end and model it across the mid point.

How can I have a screw load along an edge and not a surface?

Can I fix three holes on one end and keep the other three free?  Especially, with a load in all 6 screws?

Any help or advice would be greatful.  Thanks much and cheers,
Jerry
